The traditional Chinese medicine treatment program for squamous lung cancer generally requires evidence-based treatment. Squamous lung cancer is a kind of lung cancer, which belongs to the categories of “lung stagnation”, “cough”, “hemoptysis” and “chest pain” in Chinese medicine, and can be classified into Qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm dampness impregnating lung. In Chinese medicine, it belongs to the category of “lung accumulation”, “cough”, “hemoptysis”, “chest pain”, etc. It can be categorized into qi stagnation and blood stasis, phlegm and dampness in the lungs, etc., and can be treated with the medicines of Hematophagus and Blood Stasis Soup, Er Chen Soup and Gua Dao Allium Scallion White and Semi-Ha Xia Soup.
1. Qi and blood stagnation: patients with cough, chest tightness, chest pain and pain in a fixed place, sputum and blood dark red, etc., can be used to treat with Blood Palace and Blood Stasis Tang.
2. Phlegm-dampness in the lungs syndrome: patients with cough and sputum, sticky phlegm with white color, dullness (lack of appetite, reduced food intake), loose stools (thin and unshaped feces), etc., can be treated with Er Chen Tang combined with Gua Pou Allium bracteatum and Semixia Soup.
3. Yin deficiency and toxic heat syndrome: patients with no or little phlegm, or even hemoptysis, chest pain, disturbed poor sleep (meaning poor sleep), low fever and night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, but sweating stops after waking up), and dry and knotty stools, etc., which can be treated with Sasanqua and Maidong Tang combined with Wuwei Sterilizing Drink.
4. Qi and yin deficiency: the patient has a cough with little sputum and a weak coughing sound, a white color, and a thin body, etc. It can be treated with Shengmai Drink and Baihe Gujin Tang.
