Desensitization is the only treatment that can be regulated by the body and immune mechanism. It is divided into sublingual and subcutaneous injections. The most commonly used treatment for dust mite allergy is sublingual dust mite drops, which must be clear for dust mite allergy to be effective. The other is subcutaneous injection treatment, where subcutaneous puncture is performed to find out the allergen first, followed by small doses of subcutaneous injection with the corresponding allergen to achieve immune tolerance and thus cure the allergic rhinitis. Immunotherapy takes a long time, generally 3 years for sublingual administration, and 2 years for intradermal injection, the earlier the treatment, the better the effect. At present, immunotherapy is a more common method internationally, but the disadvantage is the long time and high cost.
