What to Examine for Viral Pneumonia

Viral pneumonia is interstitial inflammation of the lungs, caused by viral invasion of the respiratory tract or alveolar epithelial cells. Its examination programs include: blood routine, chest X-ray or CT imaging, pathogenetic examination, serologic examination and so on. 1. Routine blood test: white blood cell count is normal, slightly high or low, and blood sedimentation is usually in the normal range. 2. Chest X-ray: some patients are seen to have increased lung texture information or ground glass shadows by imaging, which may show small patches of infiltration or widespread infiltration and solid changes. 3. CT: the most common distribution of lobular structure of the hairy glass shadow, or small nodular foci, there are also some patients with CT imaging manifestations of reticulation streaks, bronchial, vascular bundles, such as thickening. 4. Serological examination: check the specific IgG antibody, such as complement binding test or neutralization test. The treatment of viral pneumonia is based on symptomatic treatment, and it is necessary to consult a doctor in time and follow the doctor’s instructions in order to avoid delaying the condition.
