Multiple tiny solid nodules in the lungs may be caused by diseases such as tuberculosis, pneumonia and lung cancer.
1. Tuberculosis: it is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which occurs in lung tissues, lung airways and other parts of the lung. Inactive period often has no obvious symptoms, active period can have coughing and sputum, afternoon low fever and other symptoms, chest X-ray examination can have the size of the nodular shadow.
2. Pneumonia: Inflammatory disease of the lungs caused by bacterial infection or viral infection. Imaging examination may have lung texture change, nodular or patchy shadow, and there are usually symptoms such as dyspnea, high fever and chest pain.
3. Lung cancer: it can be classified as adenocarcinoma, squamous carcinoma, small cell carcinoma, large cell carcinoma, etc. Lung chest X-ray can have nodular shadow with unclear margins, and typical cases can have “anti-S sign”, accompanied by blood in sputum, chest pain, emaciation, etc. If the examination shows that there is a micro-sized nodular shadow in the lungs, there is usually dyspnea, high fever, chest pain and other symptoms.
If the examination shows that there are small solid nodules in the lungs, don’t worry too much, and further examination should be carried out under the guidance of doctor.
