Chengshan point is located in the lower leg, specifically at the angle where the two muscle bellies of the gastrocnemius muscle meet the tendon.
Chengshan point is an acupoint on the foot solar bladder meridian, also known as fish belly, meat column, intestinal mountain. This point has the efficacy of relaxing tendons and activating collaterals (stretching the tendons and bones, dredging the meridians), clearing heat and promoting intestinal circulation, and is mainly used for treating hemorrhoids, constipation, abdominal pain, hernia, as well as constriction of the waist and legs (the body is spasmodic and convulsive due to the feeling of wind and cold), pain and other conditions.
For the treatment of hemorrhoids, it can be combined with points such as Changqiang and Xiaoji Yu, and for the treatment of waist and leg pain, it can be combined with points such as Huanjiao, Huizhong and Kunlun.
