Several common misconceptions about insomnia

What are the common misconceptions, and how many of them do you have? 1, only admit that they do not sleep well, do not believe that they have emotional problems. I once said “anxiety is the killer of sleep”, many patients have bad sleep anxiety, depression. 2, taboo, think that bad sleep is not a disease, always hope that self-regulation. Or think that may be recently encountered some things caused, hope that things are resolved, sleep can become better. 3, excessive belief in Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine or health care products. Some patients with poor sleep, the first thing that comes to mind is the weakness of their own body, thinking of how to use brain supplements or the use of Chinese medicine to regulate. There is no denying that this method is helpful to improve insomnia. Especially in the early stage, some patients can obviously feel better in sleep. But over time, or when the patient has insomnia again, the effect of this method is stretched to the limit. Patients have to keep changing the variety, delaying treatment. 4. Inner resistance to sleep-aiding drugs. In a series of health products and Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine methods do not work, some patients are forced to start using some sleep-aided Western medicine. However, patients are always convinced that these drugs are “Valium” and they will become addicted if they eat them, so they are very resistant to them. The side effects of the drugs are overstated, and the dosage of the drugs is as low as possible. Some patients can divide an alprazolam into 8 portions. If you don’t eat it, you can’t sleep, and if you eat it, you’ll worry about the side effects, so many patients are torn every day. 5.Some patients without formal treatment or patients with insomnia due to other diseases always think they are persistent insomniacs because of their long insomnia, lose confidence in treatment, and have a clear distrust of doctors when seeking medical treatment. 6, In addition, there are some patients who are overly dependent on drugs, have subjective insomnia or anticipatory anxiety, etc. How to get out of these misconceptions? We suggest that you should go to a regular hospital for diagnosis and treatment, do not avoid the disease nor do you want to seek medical help.
