Ozagrel sodium can selectively inhibit thromboxane synthase, thus inhibiting the production of thromboxane A2 and promoting the production of prostacyclin, making a balance between the two, ultimately inhibiting platelet aggregation and reducing vasospasm, improving the microcirculation and energy metabolism disorders during local ischemia in the brain. It is mainly used to improve cerebral thrombosis, movement disorders in the acute phase, improve the state of cerebral vascular spasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgery, or other diseases that produce symptoms of cerebral ischemia. It is contraindicated mainly in patients with allergies and in patients with hemorrhagic cerebral infarction, epidural hemorrhage, intracranial hemorrhage, or with primary intraventricular hemorrhage.
