Sneezing and nosebleeds

Sneezing while bleeding from the nose can be caused by rhinitis or other diseases, as well as damage to the mucous membrane inside the nose. You can control the treatment from three aspects, such as diet, daily behavior, and treatment.

1. Diet. When a person has a nosebleed, pay attention to these points in the diet. Do not eat spicy, greasy food; eat more fruits rich in vitamin C; drink more water to replenish the lost water; each meal with vegetables, cereals, fruits. This can reduce the damage caused by nosebleeds.

2. Daily behavior. Quit picking your nose, sneezing hard and other behaviors, which can easily hurt your nose. You can use a cotton swab with water and put it into the nasal cavity for wiping, so that the inside is in a moist state. Also use a tissue or a clean towel to catch the nosebleed, above the nose, and press your hand on the bridge of the nose position to stop the bleeding.

3. Treatment. When the nosebleed is more serious or dragged too long without cure, go to the hospital for treatment in time. At the same time, do the corresponding examination to confirm the source of the bleeding to stop the bleeding. Then use the corresponding drugs for proper treatment.

Generally, nosebleeds from sneezing are mostly caused by bleeding from the mucous membrane inside the nose when sneezing, followed by a sudden rupture of the capillaries in it. That’s why a hospital visit is a must.
