Causes of allergic rhinitis dark circles under the eyes

Some patients with allergic rhinitis will have dark circles under their eyes. Allergic rhinitis is a systemic disease that mainly manifests as sneezing, clear nasal discharge, nasal congestion, and loss of sense of smell. Some patients with allergic rhinitis have symptoms that can involve the eyes and will have some eye symptoms, such as itchy, dry eyes and conjunctival congestion. Blocked nasal venous return may lead to dark circles under the eyes. This condition is somewhat related to allergic rhinitis. Clinical treatment requires the application of oral anti-allergy medication, nasal spray hormone therapy or nasal spray antihistamine for treatment.
