Mesothelioma-like hyperplasia should be removed completely and promptly. Mesothelioma-like hyperplasia is a benign tumor, but it has the probability of further progression and even cancer, so it should be treated promptly. Surgical complete excision of the lesion is the most effective means of treatment to avoid further progression and the possibility of cancer. Surgical resection should be sent for pathologic examination to assess whether there are abnormal cells remaining at the surgical margin and whether cancer has developed. If there are residual cells, the resection should be enlarged to avoid local recurrence; if cancer has already appeared, the relevant imaging examination should be improved to assess the necessity of surgery and whether adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy are needed. It is recommended that patients should be actively treated under the guidance of doctors to avoid delaying the condition.
