What herbs to take for gallbladder stones

Gallbladder stones can be diagnosed by taking Jin Zhong Zi San combined with Da Chai Hu Tang, Yin Chen Artemisia Tang combined with Da Chai Hu Tang, Yin Chen Artemisia Tang combined with Huang Lian Xie Du Tang, and Consistent Decoction. Liver depression and qi stagnation manifests as intermittent colicky or boring pain in the right upper abdomen, sometimes radiating to the right shoulder and back, with limited pressure pain in the right upper abdomen, accompanied by low-grade fever, bitter taste in the mouth, and loss of appetite. Treatment can be done by combining Jinlingzi San with Da Chaihu Tang. Liver and gallbladder damp-heat syndrome manifests as persistent distension and pain in the right epigastric region, mostly radiating to the back of the right shoulder, muscle tension in the right epigastric region, pressure pain, and sometimes the enlarged gallbladder can be palpated; accompanied by high fever, malignant cold, bitter mouth and dry throat, nausea and vomiting, and inappetence for food, and some patients develop yellowish coloration of the body and eyes. Treatment can be done by combining Yin Chen Artemisia Tang with Da Chai Hu Tang. Hepatobiliary sepsis manifests as hard, full and burning pain in the right upper abdomen, pain and refusing to be pressed, or the enlarged gallbladder can be touched, jaundice deepens day by day, and strong heat is not stopping. Treatment can be combined with Yin Chen Artemisia Tang and Huang Lian Xie Tu Tang. Liver-Yin deficiency manifests as vague pain in the ribs and wounds, radiating to the back of the right shoulder, aggravated by labor, dry mouth and throat, vexation and heat in the heart (irritability and sullenness), dryness of the eyes, dizziness and vertigo. Treatment can be consistently decoction. The adverse reactions and contraindications of the above drugs are not clear.
