What to do about muscle pain in the right arm

Muscle soreness in the arm may be a localized pain in the soft tissues of the muscles due to strain; it may also be a pain resulting from irritation of the nerves innervating the area, such as cervical spondylosis. If the pain is preceded by an obvious case of overexertional exercise, it may be caused by slight tearing of soft tissues such as muscles and ligaments due to excessive force during exercise, resulting in local capillary hemorrhage and tissue fluid exudation, which is a local sterile inflammation, thus causing pain. It may also be due to excessive muscle use, local accumulation of excessive metabolic products, which cannot be eliminated in time, lactic acid accumulation triggers pain. In addition, some nerves that innervate the upper limbs may also cause pain in the upper limbs if they are irritated, such as cervical spondylosis. Neurogenic cervical spondylosis is a common type of cervical spondylosis, in which the “cushion” between the cervical vertebrae, i.e. the intervertebral disc, is stimulated by long-term stress, the external fibrous ring is broken, and the internal nucleus pulposus then protrudes, compressing and stimulating the nerve roots, causing local edema and sterile inflammation of the nerve roots, thus causing pain in the area innervated by the nerve roots. Pain, numbness, and hypoacusis are the symptoms. There are many causes of muscle pain in the upper extremities, and a diagnosis needs to be made based on the specific condition.
