Mifepristone has an anti-progestational effect, with an affinity for the uterine progesterone receptor that is five times higher than that of progesterone. The exact method of administration depends on the condition. I. Termination of early pregnancy: Mifepristone is used in combination with misoprostol to terminate early pregnancy. Take mifepristone orally on day 1-2, 3 capsules once a day, and Misoprostol orally on day 3, 3 tablets. II. Conservative treatment of ectopic pregnancy: Mifepristone 100mg per dose, taken once every 12 hours for 3 days. III. Treatment of endometriosis: 25-100 mg orally daily, which can cause amenorrhea and shrink the lesions, with generally mild side effects, no estrogen-like effects, and no risk of bone loss. IV. Treatment of uterine fibroids: 12.5mg orally daily, which can be used as preoperative medication or for early menopause, but should not be used for a long time as it has the risk of increasing endometrial hyperplasia.
