Can you recover after resection surgery for mid-stage lung cancer?

There is partial recovery after resection surgery for middle stage lung cancer. Intermediate stage of lung cancer is based on TNM staging standard, which indicates that the patient’s tumor has lymph node metastasis and no distal organ metastasis for the time being, and some patients can still be recovered after surgery to resect the primary lesion site and lymph nodes, as well as a period of radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other treatments. However, if the degree of malignancy is large, coupled with incomplete surgical clearance, recurrence and metastasis will occur, leading to aggravation of the disease, distal organ metastasis to increase the difficulty of treatment, and difficult to get back. In the later stage, only radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy can be used to prolong the survival time of patients.
