Urinary oliguria and leg swelling may be caused by acute glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, renal failure and other factors.
1. Acute glomerulonephritis: If the organism is infected with germs, it may cause immune reaction and inflammatory reaction, which will damage the structure of kidney and lead to glomerular dysfunction, resulting in symptoms of oliguria, hematuria, proteinuria, edema and so on.
2. Nephrotic Syndrome: Generally there will be symptoms of massive proteinuria, which may cause a decrease in the protein level in plasma and a decrease in the plasma colloid osmotic pressure, which will lead to the infiltration of intravascular fluids into the interstitial space of tissues, thus resulting in oliguria and edema.
3. Kidney failure: the main function of the kidneys is to generate urine and excrete toxic substances. If kidney failure occurs, it may cause the excess water in the body not to be discharged and be retained in the body, thus resulting in symptoms of low urine output and swelling.
If you have low urine and swollen legs, you should consult a doctor in time to avoid delaying your condition.
