About the treatment of cutaneous hemangioma

Hemangioma is a benign tumor characterized mainly by vascular proliferation and is a manifestation of congenital vascular malformation with an incidence of about 3-8%. It is most commonly seen in children, preferably on the face and neck, but can also appear in various other areas, with skin and subcutaneous tissue being the most common. Hemangiomas are characterized by rapid growth, especially in the first year of life, and then relatively slow down. There are many treatment methods for hemangioma, such as freezing, electrocoagulation, traditional laser, microwave, radiation therapy, isotope therapy, sclerotherapy injection or surgical excision, as well as modern laser therapy, which can be used according to different types and locations. Because cryotherapy, microwave and electrocoagulation sometimes leave scars, only lesions on the extremities and trunk can be used, while the face can be treated with laser therapy and isotope dressing. Our department has achieved very good results with the use of isotope 32P dressing, and we see more than 300 patients with cutaneous hemangioma from the province every month, with an efficiency of more than 90%, and many children are cured without scars after treatment, and the cost is very small. If Li Ying, the sufferer, takes her daughter to the hospital for consultation, listens to the doctor’s advice and actively treats her, she should soon get satisfactory treatment results. Why did she go down the road of suffering from sin? As mentioned in the article, an acquaintance’s child’s “erythema” was not well treated with laser therapy, which may be an isolated case or may be due to insufficient treatment. If the results are not good, there are other treatments that can be used. As a doctor, I have come into contact with thousands of children with cutaneous hemangioma, and I have met thousands of parents of these children, all of whom have treated the disease correctly and actively cooperated with the doctors, and have achieved very good results. I sincerely hope that all of you should go to doctors if you have a disease, not to hear hearsay, not to think wrong, but to believe in science and medicine.
