Increased discharge can occur after normal sexual intercourse. A small amount of vaginal bleeding in women after sexual intercourse is mostly related to friction and congestion of the vaginal wall during sex, which can disappear in a day. The possible reasons for more vaginal bleeding are as follows: i. It may be a small amount of vaginal bleeding due to hymen or vaginal laceration. Second, it may be bleeding due to chronic cervical inflammation such as cervical erosion and cervical polyps. Third, it may occur that there is vaginal bleeding after sex due to flaking of the endometrium which is not firm. When women have vaginal bleeding after sex, it is best to go to the hospital for examination and take appropriate treatment to stop the bleeding according to the different parts. Women should pay attention to keep their vulva clean and hygienic before and after sex, and should not be too long and rough during sex to avoid excessive vaginal and cervical congestion.
