How much budesonide 2ml 1mg to put in a nebulizer?

Budesonide Suspension for Inhalation (2ml:1mg) is primarily used to treat bronchial asthma while replacing or reducing oral steroid therapy. The nebulized dose needs to be different depending on the differentiation between different conditions, adults and children. For example, for the starting dose, during severe asthma or when reducing oral glucocorticoids, nebulization of 1-2 mg (2-4 ml) twice a day is recommended for adults and 0.5-1 mg (1-2 ml) twice a day is recommended for children. The maintenance dose should be individualized and should be the lowest dose that ensures that the patient is asymptomatic, which varies according to the individual’s condition. The recommended dose is 0.5-1 mg (1-2 ml) nebulized twice a day for adults and 0.25-0.5 mg (0.5-1 ml) nebulized twice a day for children. Adverse reactions such as fever, rash, headache, and earache may occur after use of the medication and usually resolve on their own after discontinuation of the medication. This medication is contraindicated in people who are allergic to budesonide or any other ingredient. Caution is required in patients with the presence of active or inactive tuberculosis infection in the respiratory tract, untreated systemic fungal, bacterial, viral or parasitic infections, or ocular herpes simplex. The specific dosage and usage of the above medicines should follow the doctor’s instructions and should not be used on its own to avoid adverse reactions.
