Liver cancer advanced stage stomach pain and swelling so much that the pain can not sleep is considered to be related to ascites, and the 5-year survival rate of those who are in the advanced stage of liver cancer is less than 5%, which needs to be decided according to the individual’s physical condition and the progress of the disease. In advanced stage of liver cancer, liver dysfunction causing hypoproteinemia, combined with portal vein thrombosis or cancer cells spreading to the abdominal cavity can cause ascites to increase, resulting in abdominal distension, abdominal pain and other symptoms. If there is a large amount of ascites in advanced stage of liver cancer, supplemental albumin treatment is often given to increase the level of albumin in the body, and combined with diuretic treatment at the same time. If the reduction of ascites is not obvious and the effect is not satisfactory, ascites can be extracted by abdominal puncture and chemotherapy by peritoneal instillation. If the liver cancer is in advanced stage, the 5-year survival rate of patients is less than 5%, and the survival period of most patients is not more than 1 year, usually 3~6 months. When in the advanced stage of liver cancer, patients should keep optimism and adhere to standardized treatment under the guidance of doctors.
