Many purple blood vessels on the feet are the manifestation of varicose veins, which can be manifested as dilated capillaries in the initial stage, called spider web-like varicose veins. It is the lightest form of varicose veins, which is mainly due to the aggregation and expansion of microscopic veins of less than 1mm in diameter, resulting in the formation of purple blood vessels with web-like changes. Varicose veins are caused by poor venous reflux in the lower extremities, and the stagnation of blood in the superficial veins creates dilated veins. Since the skin and subcutaneous tissues on the feet are weak, they themselves tend to form veins that show up, and the presence of poor venous reflux makes varicose veins easier to form. The purple veins on the feet alone are not routinely treated surgically, and patients are advised to avoid prolonged sitting and standing, elevate the affected limbs, and wear medical compression stockings to delay the further development of the varicose veins. Therefore, although its principle is similar to varicose veins, the symptoms and degree are less severe, so it is recommended to pay more attention to it in general and to carry out conservative treatment.
