The progression of stage II bowel cancer occurs in relation to the patient’s physical fitness, the malignancy of the disease, and the treatment modality. Clinically, there are many kinds of bowel cancer, such as colon cancer and rectal cancer. The malignant degree of bowel cancer in some patients is high, and the progression from Stage II bowel cancer takes only a few months, while the malignant degree of cancer cells in some patients is low, so their development is slower, and it may take 1 year or even longer to go from natural course of Stage II to Stage III. In the early stage of the disease, there are no symptoms or symptoms are not obvious, only feeling discomfort, indigestion and fecal occult blood. As the cancer develops, symptoms gradually appear, manifesting as change in bowel habit, abdominal pain, blood in stool, abdominal mass, intestinal obstruction, etc., with or without systemic symptoms such as anemia, fever and emaciation. Therefore, after the occurrence of the above symptoms, it is recommended that patients go to colorectal surgery in time to avoid delaying their condition. In addition, most of the intestinal cancer patients are recommended to undergo surgical treatment if they are physically able to tolerate it. After surgery, they should pay more attention to their diet, choosing low-lactose, low-fat and high-protein diets, and insisting on the principles of small meals, balanced diets, and gradual progression.
