Patients with nodules smaller than 5mm can be treated conservatively with antibiotics and glucocorticoids, with regular follow-up. If the nodule is more than 10mm, an enhanced CT must be done to determine if the nodule is benign. If the lung nodule is large, surgery can be chosen to remove the lung nodule, while when the lung nodule is small, no treatment can be done and follow-up can be done. Lung nodules are caused by smoking or long-term work and life in a polluted environment, so avoiding the causes in life can be a good prevention of lung nodules.
