Bilateral renal nodules refer to the presence of solid lesions in both kidneys, but the nature of the lesions is uncertain, so they are called nodular lesions. It may be a benign disease of kidney, such as renal malignant tumor and xanthogranuloma, or a malignant disease of kidney, such as renal metastasis, etc. Further examination in hospital is needed to clarify. In case of benign disease, CT examination can reveal well-defined nodules with uniform density, which do not show enhancement when enhanced CT examination is performed, and can remain unchanged for a long time without causing any conscious symptoms in patients. In the case of malignant disease, metastases are more common and can lead to multiple metastatic disease in both kidneys. This can be manifested as irregular pattern or pain, enhanced nodules on enhanced CT, and malignant lesions with other tumors in the body. It is recommended to go to the hospital for relevant examinations to clarify the nature of the lesion and then decide how to treat it later.
