Pig Ling Soup is not used to treat kidney stones. It is mainly used for treating the symptoms of water-heat inter-conjugation and injury to yin. Fever, thirst and desire to drink, or discharging of urine. It also treats heat drenching (burning and stinging pain is obvious when urinating, accompanied by frequency and urgency of urination, and discomfort of pulling in the abdomen), blood drenching (the appearance of blood in the urine accompanied by a painful sensation), and so on.
Poria Soup is composed of poria, poria, zejiao, talc, and agaric, which has the effect of clearing heat and inducing diuresis, and can be used for treating fever, thirst, and heartburn caused by water-heat interlocks. Its contraindications are not clear.
Chinese medicines have a certain promotion effect on the detoxification of kidney stones, and commonly used Chinese medicines include psyllium and moneywort. However, there is no clinical evidence that pig ling soup can be used to treat kidney stones.
