When should you do a flat exercise test

Plate exercise test is currently the most widely used exercise load test method, allowing the subject to walk on the exercise plate, according to the selected exercise program, the apparatus automatically graded, sequentially increasing the speed and slope of the plate to adjust the load until the heart rate reaches the expected heart rate of the subject. The ECG changes before, during and after exercise are analyzed to determine the results. Exercise test is suitable for: 1, differential diagnosis of patients with atypical chest pain or suspected coronary artery disease; 2, assessment of cardiac load capacity of patients with coronary artery disease; 3, evaluation of the effect of drug or interventional surgery treatment for coronary artery disease; 4, epidemiological survey screening test for the population susceptible to coronary artery disease. Exercise test is contraindicated in: 1, acute myocardial infarction or myocardial infarction combined with ventricular wall aneurysm; 2, unstable angina; 3, heart failure; 4, moderate to severe valvular disease or congenital heart disease; 5, acute or severe chronic diseases; 6, patients with severe hypertension; 7, acute pericarditis or myocarditis; 8, pulmonary embolism; 9, severe aortic stenosis; 10, severe disability unable to exercise.
