How to cure breast fibroids

There is only one clinical treatment for the cure of breast fibroids, namely surgery. Surgery includes two methods, the first method is traditional open surgery to remove the tumor, which is more common in clinical practice. The second method is the minimally invasive rotational resection, which is done under the guidance of ultrasound to remove the lump completely. It is important to note that patients should avoid menstruation when having this surgery. The reason for avoiding menstruation is that, firstly, surgery during menstruation is prone to bleeding; secondly, surgery during menstruation may consider benign tumor as breast cancer, so surgery during menstruation should be avoided. Generally, if you pay attention to the above two points and remove the tumor completely, you can basically achieve a cure. Moreover, in most cases, breast fibroids will not recur after removal, but very few patients will experience recurrence again after surgery. Generally, when the lump is very small, because the patients observed clinically, when the breast fibroid reaches 1cm, they do a spinotomy for pathological examination and find that there is a chance of breast cancer. Therefore, if the breast fibroid is >0.5cm, it should be closely observed. One is to see how fast it grows, and the other is to see the grading under ultrasound. If the grading reaches grade 3, early surgical intervention should also be done. Because theoretically speaking, breast fibroids have a certain cancer rate, which is still relatively high. If breast fibroids are left untreated for a long time, the cancer rate can reach 10%.
