How to differentiate between breast fibroids

Breast fibroids are benign lesions, usually round or oval, well-defined and very mobile. Pressing on a fibroid is usually painless, while being elastic and ping-pong-like, and may be a single lesion or a multiple lesion. If a patient can touch a lump inside the breast, round or oval, during a physical examination or self-examination, it is usually a breast fibroid. If the lump is determined to be a fibroid, it is a benign lesion, but there is a possibility that the lump is malignant, so it needs to be taken seriously.
