The severity of urinary tract infection can usually be represented by the number of leukocytes plus in the urine. A urine routine with leukocytes >10×10^9/L or more means (+), and if out (++) leukocytes proves a moderate urinary tract infection. Because during pregnancy, especially in the later stages of pregnancy, there is usually an increase in white blood cells in urine, if the pregnant woman herself has no special symptoms, such as frequent, urgent or painful urination and no symptoms of back pain, she can use the conservative treatment of drinking more water and then review the urinary routine after a week. Because antibiotics are not recommended for pregnant women, urinary tract infections of moderate or less than moderate severity, with no co-morbid symptoms, can be treated conservatively first.
