Breast enlargement is one of the most common breast diseases among women, and its incidence rate accounts for the first place of breast diseases. In recent years, the incidence of breast enlargement has been on the rise year by year, and the age of onset is getting lower and lower. What exactly is the reason why so many women are plagued by breast enlargement? How to effectively prevent and treat this disease? What is the relationship between breast enlargement and breast cancer? Lump or breast pain, you may have breast enlargement. Mammal hyperplasia is a common breast disease in women, referring to the proliferation of breast epithelium and fibrous tissue, structural degenerative lesions of the ducts and lobules of the breast tissue and progressive connective tissue growth. Breast hyperplasia is essentially a disorder of the normal structure of the breast caused by physiologic hyperplasia and dysplasia. The pathogenesis of the disease is due to endocrine disorders resulting in excess and imbalance of estrogen. The clinical manifestations of breast hyperplasia are mainly divided into two situations: breast pain and lumps. First of all, let’s talk about breast pain. Breast pain caused by breast hyperplasia is very confusing, and the patient does not necessarily have breast pain. It is very likely to cause pain in the nipple, paratesticular breast, armpit, small arm, and even the back. When the pain occurs in these areas, many women rarely associate it with breast enlargement and target the treatment to the location of the pain, which prevents them from treating the symptoms and affects the treatment of the disease. Secondly, let’s talk about lumps, which is one of the more important aspects that many women pay attention to when they perform a self-examination of their breasts. However, the lumps of breast hyperplasia are more complicated, and the current clinical findings include lumpy, granular, striated, flaky, and many other shapes. Lumps of breast hyperplasia are somewhat hidden, and some of them are not easy to be found by patients because of their size and location. Therefore, when patients feel breast discomfort, they should go to regular hospitals in time to avoid delay in treatment. There are also some patients with abnormal nipple discharge, once this happens, it is very likely to be suffering from breast hyperplasia, do not take it lightly. Regulate diet to prevent excess estrogen Clinical case: “Not long ago, a mother brought her daughter to my clinic. The girl was only sixteen years old, but her two breasts were bigger than normal. Her mother told me that her child could not attend sports classes and had to hold her breasts in her hands when she ran, and asked me if I could do a breast reduction surgery. When I examined the girl, there were large and small lumps all over her breasts, and the condition of breast enlargement was already quite serious. I asked her what she usually likes to eat, the girl did not bat an eye and said it was foreign fast food. I shook my head and told her, ‘It’s these foreign fast foods that put you in this state.'” Causes: excess and dysregulation of estrogen is the root cause of breast enlargement in women. From past experience, the proportion of mature women suffering from the disease is larger, this is because in the age group of 35-50 years old, it is the stage when estrogen secretion is more vigorous in women. However, in the past two years, we have found that the incidence of breast hyperplasia is developing at a younger age, which is directly related to the changes in living environment and dietary structure. The girl I treated is a case in point. To put it politely, the popularity of many “foreign fast food” is the direct cause of excess estrogen. Many meat products, farmed chickens, ducks, fish, etc., including fast food, are “hyped up” with estrogen. The growth period of these animals is greatly shortened, but the “toxicity” is greatly increased. These delicious but dangerous food to eat into the human stomach, in the body to stay, will inevitably lead to a large increase in estrogen, and finally induced mammary gland hyperplasia. There is an old saying that pregnancy and breastfeeding can cure breast enlargement. This is not accurate, it should be said that pregnancy and breastfeeding can protect women from breast enlargement temporarily. Because pregnancy and breastfeeding are two special periods in a woman’s life, during which her estrogen will be at a low level, thus effectively preventing the onset of breast enlargement. However, there is no scientific evidence to suggest that breast enlargement can be cured by this means. Solution: If you want to prevent high estrogen, you must pay attention to your diet, especially foods containing animal estrogens should be kept away from. For example, the fried chicken and artificially farmed meat in the foreign fast food we mentioned earlier. There is also a popular food for women – honey, which is also included in this list. According to medical research, honey, propolis, royal jelly and other foods contain a large amount of animal estrogen, large amounts of which are not beneficial to women, especially those suffering from breast diseases, so daily consumption must be controlled, do not fall into the wrong zone. Of course, not all estrogen can cause breast enlargement, phytoestrogens are a kind of hormone that is good for women’s health. This estrogen is mainly contained in various types of soy products, such as soybeans, tofu, eat a little more for women is very good. Control your emotions to avoid estrogen imbalance Clinical Case: “Many patients who come to see the doctor say they are angry with their family members when they mention their breast enlargement. One female patient thought she had breast cancer before she came in, and was sad and depressed. I first ruled out the possibility of cancer for her, and her face immediately looked better. Then we talked about some trivial things at home, her husband, her children, her coworkers,…… She said she wasn’t angry at all, but when she was angry, it went from her chest to her back, and hurt everywhere. I told her: ‘cure you this disease, there is no panacea, the mood is good, the disease is naturally alleviated.'” Causes of the disease: we often hear the word: qi knot – if the qi is not flowing freely it will be stagnant in the chest and eventually form a lump, bringing pain. That’s why there’s a saying in Chinese medicine: “Passage is painless, pain is impassable”. A more common explanation is that anger, depression, moping and other mental factors will have an impact on the body’s physiological functions, including the function of the endocrine system, which in turn contributes to the secretion of one or more hormones abnormally, the original state of equilibrium is disrupted, resulting in the generation of breast hyperplasia. Therefore, the best way to deal with this cause is to adjust your mind and untie your heart. Solution: In my treatment of patients, because of anger and lead to a few examples of illness, through chatting I found that it is just some trivial things in life, children do not compete, mother-in-law difficult to get along with, the work is not good …… So I always say, breast hyperplasia is not only a physical disease, but also a psychological disease, to the If you open up your heart, you will naturally get well faster. The more you get angry, the worse your condition will be. Everyone’s life is not smooth sailing, problems arise, we can think of ways to solve them, but the body out of the problem, all the work, the basis of life is gone. I often tell my patients to treat themselves well, love themselves more, focus on themselves first, and strive to be physically healthy and mentally calm. Other things might as well be looked down upon, and letting nature take its course is one way to go. In addition to the mindset adjustment we mentioned, we can also combine medications to treat breast enlargement. These include both pain-relieving, blood-activating and stasis-eliminating medications such as Xiaojin Pills, as well as some agents that act directly on the cells to control estrogen. Generally speaking, we do not recommend surgical treatment for breast enlargement, but surgical excision may be an option in the following three cases. First, when breast enlargement is serious, painful, difficult to control by medication and affects normal work and life, limited excision can be performed. Secondly, if malignancy is suspected after examination, surgical excision can be performed. Thirdly, if atypical hyperplasia, i.e. cancer, is confirmed by puncture biopsy, surgical excision is recommended. Healthy Work and Rest Ensure Estrogen Balance Clinical Case: “When I saw this patient at that time, I thought she didn’t look too good. She was a young girl with no energy, big dark circles under her eyes, and a yellowish face. Later, she said she worked in a foreign company and was under great pressure, often staying up late to work overtime and suffering from insomnia. Rarely have a break time, but not move and friends outside all night drinking and singing. Recently, she found that her breasts were swollen and uncomfortable before each menstrual period, so she came to see a doctor. After examination of her condition is mild hyperplasia, if timely attention is not much of a problem, but if you continue to live in this way, the situation is not good.” Causes of disease: irregular life can cause endocrine disorders, hormonal imbalance in the body, which is a medical common sense that we all know. Modern society is fast-paced, high pressure, which is an indisputable fact, biological clock disorders, serious lack of sleep, workload is too high, bad habits, etc. will become estrogen imbalance triggers, and finally triggered by breast hyperplasia. There is a correlation between breast enlargement and menstruation – when a woman enters her menstrual period, the milk tubules are also being renewed and flayed, and this is when the swelling and pain in the breasts will be more pronounced and the lumps will be more clearly defined. Usually, these conditions subside after menstruation. Solution: In medicine, there is no grading for breast enlargement. We usually refer to lumps that are not obvious and less painful as mild breast enlargement, and this condition can be alleviated or even cured if adjustments are made in a timely manner. As a woman, a regular work schedule and a healthy lifestyle are important safeguards against disease. Ensuring as much sleep as possible, having three meals a day at regular intervals, adjusting the mindset, reducing stress and eating more fruits and vegetables all play a positive role in promoting the prevention and treatment of breast enlargement. In addition, I suggest that women must maintain a certain amount of exercise to prevent obesity. This is because according to clinical studies, fat can be converted into estrogen under certain circumstances, which means that obese women are more likely to suffer from breast enlargement than slim women. There are also some bad habits, such as smoking, drinking and so on, should be corrected in time, so as to reduce the possibility of developing breast enlargement and even breast cancer. Breast hyperplasia: Keeping a safe distance from breast cancer We used to say “cancer is a bad thing”, but now many women have risen to the level of “hyperplasia is a bad thing”. Many patients, after discovering abnormalities in their breasts, are hesitant to seek medical treatment, and on the other hand, they are afraid, which leads to a more serious condition. Therefore, I suggest that female friends, if you find your body abnormalities, you must go to the regular hospital in time to ask the doctor to check. While paying attention, you should also learn to relax and not to scare yourself. From a clinical point of view, examples of transformation from breast hyperplasia to breast cancer are in the minority. According to scientific statistics, roughly 3% of breast hyperplasia patients become breast cancer patients. Although in the high-risk factors leading to breast cancer, “having benign breast disease” is also listed, but this percentage is small, do not have to have hyperplasia every day to live in the shadow of cancer, which is not conducive to the healing of the disease. Of course, the appearance of breast enlargement is a wake-up call for women’s bodies. Women with breast enlargement should pay more attention to self-examination and medical checkups, pay close attention to the development of the disease, and seek timely medical treatment once changes occur.
