How to treat bleeding nose and mouth

In case of nasal and oral bleeding, it is necessary to find out the bleeding point and the cause. The causes of bleeding generally include two points: 1) extensive mucosal bleeding in the nasal cavity and oral cavity due to abnormal coagulation function, which requires a hospital check of blood count and coagulation function to exclude bleeding caused by blood disorders; 2) symptoms caused by backflow of blood from the nasopharynx to the oral cavity after massive bleeding from the nasal arteries and veins, which requires an electronic rhinoscopy to find the bleeding point. If a clear bleeding point is found, laser or microwave coagulation can be used to stop the bleeding. If the bleeding area is large, compression with a tumescent sponge can be used to stop the bleeding. If the bleeding is from a tumor in the nasal cavity, local pathology should be taken to confirm whether it is a hemangioma or nasal fibroma. After filling, a light diet is needed to avoid strenuous exercise and control blood pressure.
