Low blood pressure does not usually cause headaches. However, there may be fainting complicating a fall, leading to skull fracture, etc. causing headache. Headache can usually be considered as a result of infection, vascular lesions, or space-occupying lesions, and prompt medical attention is recommended. Hypotension is diagnosed if the measured blood pressure is less than 90/60mmhg in a normal adult in a quiet state. Clinical discomfort such as dizziness, nausea, fatigue, fainting and falling may occur, but it does not usually lead to symptoms of pain in the head. If low blood pressure occurs and dizziness results in a fall, it may cause craniocerebral fracture and cerebral hemorrhage, which may be complicated by symptoms of headache. Often the symptoms of headache may be caused by infectious diseases such as meningitis, encephalitis, brain abscess, or vascular lesions such as cerebral embolism, cerebral blood supply insufficiency, or occupying lesions such as brain tumors, intracranial metastases, and so on. Therefore, attention needs to be paid and timely consultation is recommended. When the above symptoms appear, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time for early treatment.
