It is generally recommended that 100mg aspirin enteric-coated tablets be taken in the morning before breakfast, with warm water, and after half an hour of taking the tablets you can usually eat normally. Aspirin enteric-coated tablets work by inhibiting platelet aggregation, and are clinically indicated for the prevention of the onset of myocardial infarction, the prevention of stroke, and the prevention of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism and other diseases. Aspirin administration may have adverse reactions such as heartburn, acid reflux, dry mouth, gastrointestinal bleeding, and allergy. This drug is contraindicated in people who are allergic to aspirin or other salicylates, acute gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, severe hepatic, renal, and cardiac failure, and in the last trimester of pregnancy. This drug should also not be used in combination with aminoglutethimide. Aspirin enteric-coated tablets need to be taken on an empty stomach because aspirin enteric-coated tablets do not dissolve in stomach acid and need to reach the alkaline environment in the small intestine to release the drug components. Taking aspirin with meals may increase the residence time of aspirin enteric-coated tablets in the stomach, and therefore may aggravate the damaging effect of the drug on the gastric mucosa. Aspirin enteric-coated tablets need to be used under the guidance of a professional doctor, do not take medication without authorization, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
