How to take care of bronchial asthma? Away from the “culprit” is the key!

Patients with bronchial asthma should be clear about what their allergens are. Patients can go to a regular hospital for allergen testing to clarify what allergens they are allergic to and avoid them, which can effectively reduce the number of asthma attacks and slow down the progression of the disease. Some patients hope to relieve bronchial asthma through dietary therapy, but Western medicine does not believe that any food can replace drugs to treat bronchial asthma, some specific foods may have an allergic risk for asthma patients, so asthma patients should effectively avoid such foods, which can also be considered as a note of dietary therapy. There are some allergens such as special foods that we know can be effectively avoided after long-term consumption of foods that can easily lead to allergies: 1, fish, shrimp, crab and other aquatic products, because of its high protein content, easy to become an allergen; 2, nuts, such as hazelnuts, peanuts, pistachios, some patients will also be allergic. Therefore, if patients have tried these foods in the past and have no reaction, they can continue to use them safely, but for those who have not been exposed to new varieties of aquatic products and nuts, we suggest that patients should try them carefully. Other than that, asthma patients can safely consume some common foods including staple foods without any special avoidance. However, some allergens, such as seasonal pollen and dust mites, are so widely distributed that it is difficult to avoid them completely, so asthma treatment drugs can be used to cut off this allergic reaction, which can also effectively prevent and treat asthma. Therefore, the main precaution in life is to clarify the allergens, avoid them effectively and completely, and at the same time use the medication regularly to prevent its acute attack and repeated progress.
