Fetal movement in late pregnancy is suddenly particularly active, it may be a normal phenomenon, or it may be a manifestation of intrauterine hypoxia of the fetus.
1. Normal phenomenon: fetal movement with the progress of pregnancy gradually enhanced, fetal movement at night and afternoon is more active, can be manifested in late pregnancy fetal movement suddenly active, often in the fetal sleep cycle disappeared. Therefore, it may be normal for fetal movement to be particularly active in late pregnancy.
2. Fetal intrauterine oxygen deprivation: if the early frequent fetal movements, then weaken and reduce the number of times, and then disappeared, is considered to be the manifestation of intrauterine oxygen deprivation, this phenomenon is most likely to be the umbilical cord compression, placental abruption and other causes of acute fetal oxygen deprivation.
If the pressure on the umbilical cord can be relieved in the late pregnancy, the fetal movement can return to normal. If the fetal movement is particularly active and persistent, timely medical examination should be conducted and appropriate measures should be taken.
