Acetaminophen Effects and Side Effects

Clinical acetaminophen-free, usually refers to acetaminophen. It can be used for the treatment of colds and fever and other symptoms, and side effects such as hives may occur after administration. Acetaminophen can inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins during the inflammatory response, thus blocking the response, with antipyretic and analgesic effects. Clinically the drug can be used for symptomatic treatment of cold and fever, gout pain, arthritis pain, headache, toothache and other symptoms. Possible adverse reactions to the drug include rash, localized itching of the skin, drug-induced fever, granulocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, bruising or bleeding of the skin, edema, bronchospasm, hepatic and renal impairment, etc. With the occurrence of these symptoms, it is recommended to terminate the use of the drug and consult a doctor promptly. The drug is contraindicated in the presence of severe impairment of liver and kidney function, drug allergy, children under six years of age. It is forbidden to use the drug when taking phenobarbital, belladonna, chloramphenicol and other drugs. It is forbidden to drink alcohol or take alcoholic products while taking it. Caution is recommended in the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation. The drug should not be taken for a maximum of 6 days, and the drug should not be used as a substitute for treatment of the primary disease. Acetaminophen should be used under the supervision of a clinician, and seek medical attention if fever develops.
