SIRS is the abbreviation of systemic inflammatory response syndrome, which refers to a systemic inflammatory response of the body due to severe injury from infection, trauma, surgery, and ischemia, which can eventually lead to the loss of control of the body’s response to inflammation and cause a series of organ-organ damage, and its prognosis is poor if not actively treated. The diagnosis can be made with two of the following clinical manifestations: 1) temperature >38℃ or <36℃; 2) heart rate >90 beats/min; 3) respiratory rate >20 breaths/min or partial pressure of carbon dioxide <32mmHg; 4) total white blood cell count >12×10^9/L or <4×10^9/L, or the proportion of naive white blood cells >10%.
