A large number of black shadows in front of the patient’s eyes follow the rotation of the eyeball, mostly caused by vitreous clouding, if it is physiological, generally no treatment is needed. If it is caused by pathologic reasons, patients can be treated by surgery, medication, etc. The specific treatment is related to the patient’s condition. 1. Physiological: with age, patients appear vitreous degeneration, liquefaction, thus appearing vitreous clouding, belongs to the physiological vitreous clouding. The patient may have uncomfortable symptoms such as dark shadows in front of the eyes, but generally does not damage the patient’s vision, usually do not need special treatment. 2.Pathologic (1) Retinal detachment: retinal detachment patients may appear before the eyes black shadow blocking, but also lead to vision loss, patients can be treated by surgery, such as vitrectomy. (2) Uveitis: patients with uveitis may have vitreous clouding, leading to vision loss and dark shadows in front of the eyes, which can be treated with pupil dilation, anti-inflammatory and anti-infective drugs, such as atropine eye drops, tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops, levofloxacin eye drops, and so on.
