Introduction to minimally invasive breast surgery

  Perfect breasts are the pride of women’s beauty, but breast diseases have always troubled women’s physical and mental health, especially the high incidence of breast cancer makes all women talk about breast. The surgical scars left on the breast by traditional surgery are like a stain on the beautiful picture, which removes the disease but leaves numerous regrets.
  Know your options
  When you find a breast lump on your own or during a physical exam, what should you do and what are your options? Some breast lumps only require regular checkups and do not need to be removed. However, some women feel reassured only after they have been removed or have had a biopsy. Depending on your condition and your actual situation, you can work with your doctor to determine your best options.
  Open surgical biopsy (OSB traditional surgical approach)
  Benign breast lumps can be removed using open surgery. During the procedure, the patient is first brought into the operating room and anesthetized with narcotics and sedation. The surgeon makes a 3-5 cm incision in the chest and then cuts through the surrounding tissue to remove the mass; sutures are then placed and the wound is dressed with a bandage.
  Patients will need to be hospitalized for observation after surgery. Some people experience pain after surgery and damage to the appearance of the breast, leaving a surface scar. Internal scarring may interfere with future examinations. An open surgical biopsy is a general surgical procedure that requires an operating room and general or partial anesthesia.
  Minimally Invasive Breast Biopsy System
  Unlike an open surgical biopsy, a biopsy performed with the minimally invasive breast biopsy system is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia and requires only a small skin incision. The biopsy probe is usually guided by ultrasound imaging through the skin to the target mass. Under light vacuum suction, the tissue is drawn into the collection tank of the biopsy probe and rotational sampling is performed until the benign mass in the breast is completely removed.
  Fine-needle aspiration (FNA)
  During the FNA procedure, the surgeon locates the cyst by palpating the mass or relying on ultrasound imaging to locate it. A fine needle is then inserted into the cyst and the fluid is drained from inside.
  Traditional open surgical incision
  Minimally invasive breast surgery system, this technique is safe and effective and has unique advantages that cannot be compared with traditional surgery.
  1. Small incision: Only 3mm skin incision can complete the whole procedure. No sutures are needed, and the wound is scarless with good cosmetic effect.
  2.For lesions below 3cm can be removed at once.
  3. Biopsy can be performed under local anesthesia, with little pain and fast recovery.
  4. Post-operative ultrasound and mammography will not affect the patient, which is convenient for follow-up.
  5. Small damage to normal tissues, no foreign body residue in the body, low risk of infection, saving the cost of anti-infection.
  Indications
  1. Nodules of unknown nature in the breast that require histopathological biopsy for clear diagnosis.
  2.Tiny benign tumors (such as fibroadenoma), which cannot be palpated by clinical examination and the location of the mass can only be clarified by auxiliary ultrasound examination and need to be surgically removed.
  It is especially recommended for the following groups.
  1. Unmarried, infertile and non-lactating women;
  2. Those who have scar body;
  3. Those who wish to have better breast appearance;
  4. White collar women with tight schedule and fast pace;
  5, early detection of lesions, the nature of unknown;
  6. Patients with nodules in the mammary gland and heavy mental burden.
