A bandage is applied after minimally invasive breast surgery and is usually removed after 24 hours. A pressure bandage is applied to the incision site after minimally invasive breast surgery to stop bleeding and prevent subcutaneous bleeding and hematoma. Generally, the bandage can be removed after 24 hours when the patient’s minimally invasive incision is no longer bleeding and hematoma rarely occurs. However, it should be noted that the bandage must be removed gently to avoid pain and discomfort to the patient. In addition, after the bandage is removed, the patient must undergo regular dressing changes and observe whether the wound shows signs of infection such as redness, swelling, heat, pain, etc. In case of abnormalities, anti-infection treatment is also required. In addition, although patients may experience discomfort when they have pressure bandages, they must not remove them at their own discretion within 24 hours to avoid serious consequences.
