Can stomach cancer patients eat curd?

Stomach cancer patients should try not to eat curd.
Curd belongs to pickled food with high nitrite content. After long-term consumption of food containing high nitrite, nitrate is reduced to nitrite by bacteria in the stomach, which will combine with amine to produce carcinogen nitrosamine. Besides, frequent use of moldy food, salted food, pickled and smoked food, as well as excessive intake of salt will also increase the risk of stomach cancer patients.
Stomach cancer patients should pay attention to eating more fresh fruits and vegetables in their diet, which contain antioxidants, such as multi-vitamins and trace element selenium conducive to the stabilization of the condition. In addition, according to the progress of gastric cancer, endoscopic mucosal resection is adopted for early gastric cancer without lymph node metastasis. When there is no systemic metastasis in progressive stomach cancer, partial gastrectomy is performed.
Gastric cancer patients should have regular rechecks, and if any uncomfortable symptoms appear, please do not take care of them by yourself, it is recommended to go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment under doctor’s guidance.
