There is no so-called easiest way to determine metastasis of liver cancer. Liver cancer patients need to clearly diagnose the disease through imaging examination, digital silhouette angiography, nuclear medicine, puncture biopsy and so on, in order to find out whether metastasis of liver cancer has occurred. 1. Imaging examination: Imaging examinations that can be used to diagnose liver cancer include ultrasonography, CT, MRI, and different examinations have different characteristics and need to be applied comprehensively to understand the condition. Among them, gray scale ultrasonography can comprehensively screen whether there are metastatic foci in the liver or other organs in the abdominal cavity. 2. Digital silhouette angiography: this minimally invasive test can clarify the number, size and blood redness of liver tumors. 3. Nuclear medicine: nuclear medicine imaging modalities such as single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) and positron emission computed tomography magnetic resonance imaging (PETMRI) can not only find out the metastasis of liver cancer, but also stage the tumor. 4. Puncture biopsy: occupying lesions in the liver that lack imaging features of liver cancer can be clearly diagnosed by liver puncture biopsy. However, patients who meet the clinical diagnostic criteria of liver cancer through imaging examination usually do not need to undergo puncture biopsy for diagnostic purpose. Knowing the metastasis of liver cancer can be used for clinical staging of the disease, which can provide important treatment basis for the next step of treatment. If you suspect liver cancer metastasis, please go to regular hospitals in time and actively cooperate with doctors for diagnosis and treatment.
