Patients with stasis in the liver and gallbladder meridians often have symptoms such as coercive pain and bitter taste in the mouth. For liver and gallbladder meridian stasis, moxibustion can be used on the Sun and Moon Points, Liver Points, Gallbladder Points and other points.
1. Riyue acupoint: located in the chest, the seventh intercostal space, 4 inches away from the front center line. It is used for treating jaundice, pain in the ribs, vomiting, acid swallowing (swallowing the acid in the stomach that goes up to the mouth and throat), and hiccups.
2. Liver point: in the spinal region, under the spinous process of the 9th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 inches away from the posterior midline. Indications: Jaundice, bitter taste in the mouth, dystocia (pain in the area of the ribs and coats of arms), consumption, hot flashes.
3. Gallbladder Point: located in the spinal region, under the spinous process of the 10th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 inches away from the posterior midline. It is used for treating jaundice, bitter taste in the mouth, dystocia, consumption, and hot flashes.
If there are symptoms of stagnation of the liver and gallbladder meridians, it is recommended to seek medical treatment promptly. If moxibustion is needed, it is recommended to visit a professional medical institution.
