What to do if your nose hurts

The first thing that needs to be clarified is what part of the nose is painful and what causes it. The common causes of nasal pain are inflammation of the nasal vestibule or boils on the nasal vestibule, dry nasal pain due to dry rhinitis, and nasal neuralgia. Nasal pain caused by inflammation or boils in the nasal vestibule is mainly related to the anatomical organization and structure of the nasal vestibule and skin. The skin of the nasal vestibule covers the surface of the cartilage of the nasal vestibule, and due to the lack of subcutaneous tissue, the skin and the cartilage membrane are closely connected. The skin of the nasal vestibule is rich in hair follicles, sebaceous glands and sweat glands, which can easily lead to infection for various reasons. For these reasons, when acute nasal vestibulitis occurs, or nasal vestibular boils, painful nasal vestibule occurs. It can be treated with sensitive antimicrobial agents, and the redness is treated with local cleanliness and disinfection, and must not be squeezed. In case of dry nasal pain caused by dry rhinitis, nasal spray with physiological seawater nasal spray; nasal drops with compound camphor mint oil. If it is caused by nasal neuralgia, apply local heat, and if the pain is severe, take oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Treatment for nasal pain varies for different causes. When nasal pain occurs, you need to go to the otolaryngology department in time. Never blindly use medication on your own in order to avoid delaying the treatment.
