Multiple luminal foci mean that there are multiple brain tissues with cerebral infarction and necrosis due to cerebral arteriosclerosis and cerebral vascular stenosis. Patients mostly have underlying diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, and hyperhomocysteinemia. Patients may have bad lifestyle habits such as smoking and alcohol consumption, which lead to multiple hardening and narrowing of small arteries in the patient’s brain, and then multiple lacunar cerebral infarcts are easily formed. In this case, patients must initiate secondary prevention of cerebrovascular disease, take long-term oral BAY aspirin or Bolivar anti-platelet aggregation to prevent the occurrence of cerebral infarction, actively control hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and must quit smoking, limit alcohol, and have a low salt and low fat diet in life.
