What does sequential inoculation mean?

Sequential vaccination refers to the alternation of doses and intervals between vaccines of the same type from different production lines, e.g. during the vaccination of the new crown, the inactivated vaccine is given in the first dose, followed by the recombinant protein vaccine or adenovirus vector vaccine in the second dose.

1. Currently, sequential vaccination is also used in the national free vaccination program. For example, inactivated vaccine and recombinant protein vaccine, polio vaccine, polysaccharide vaccine and conjugate vaccine.

2. In the process of self-funded vaccination, it is recommended, in principle, that the same vaccine from the same manufacturer and the same technical route be used to complete subsequent vaccinations. When it is not possible to complete the vaccination program with the same vaccine from the same manufacturer, the same vaccine from a different manufacturer can be used to complete the subsequent vaccinations after an informed understanding of the vaccine’s safety, contraindications, and the procedure for vaccination.
