Stroke, also known as stroke, is the collective term for acute cerebrovascular disease in Chinese medicine. It is a type of disease with the main symptoms of sudden fainting, unconsciousness, with crooked mouth, unfavorable speech and hemiplegia. Because of its high morbidity, mortality, disability, recurrence, cost and complications, it is one of the three major diseases threatening human health, together with coronary heart disease and cancer, and is the first disease causing death and disability in China. According to the data of the Ministry of Health, one person has a stroke every 12 seconds and one person dies of stroke every 21 seconds in China. Therefore, prevention of stroke occurrence has received wide attention. Modern medicine, in addition to actively treating hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart disease, atherosclerosis and weight control, often recommends the use of drugs to improve blood circulation “hanging water” to pass blood vessels. Why take these preventive measures but still stroke? According to the pathogenesis of stroke, we believe that it is not enough just to pass blood vessels, but also to pass meridians and open acupuncture points. The main pathogenesis of stroke is the blockage of the meridians and acupuncture points. The lesion of stroke is mainly in the head, due to wind, fire, phlegm, siltation and other paralysis blocking the meridians, resulting in the blockage of the meridians. Moreover, the onset of stroke is related to the dysfunction of the five internal organs. The acupuncture points are the parts of the internal organs and meridians where the qi is infused into the body surface. Due to inaccessibility of the meridians and dysfunction of the internal organs, the qi of the meridians and internal organs cannot be infused into the acupuncture points on the body surface, resulting in occlusion of the acupuncture points and sudden fainting, unconsciousness, slanting of the mouth, unfavorable language, paraplegia and other symptoms. According to the above analysis, the main pathogenesis of stroke is the blockage of meridians and acupuncture points, that is, as long as the meridians are open and acupuncture points are open, stroke will not occur. Therefore, the key to stroke prevention is to open the meridians and acupuncture points. To open the meridians is to open all the 137 meridians in the body, and to open the acupuncture points is to open all the 670 acupuncture points in the body. Sometimes we often find that some people have opened the meridians and acupuncture points, but why do they still have strokes? The reason is that they have only opened one or a few meridians, and only one or a few acupoints. The onset of stroke is related to 137 meridians in the body, including the twelve meridians, the Ren and Dou meridians, not just one or a few meridians; it is also related to 670 acupuncture points, not just one or a few acupuncture points. The best way to open the meridians and acupuncture points is to combine acupuncture, massage and Chinese medicine. Acupuncture and massage directly stimulate the meridians and acupuncture points from outside the body, while Chinese medicine is taken internally to stimulate the meridian qi from inside the body, combining inside and outside, complementing each other. The focus of acupuncture is to open one of the twelve meridians and one of the two channels of the Ren and Du meridians in order, while the other meridians are attached to the twelve meridians and the Ren and Du meridians. Tui Na can stimulate the twelve meridians, the Ren and Du meridians and 670 acupuncture points each time. Generally, twelve times is a course of treatment. Chinese medicine is used according to the dialectical evidence, either to dissolve phlegm and open the channels, or to calm the liver and submerge Yang, or to nourish Yin and submerge Yang, or to benefit Qi and invigorate Blood. If you have symptoms of stroke or a history of stroke, you should “maintain” at least twice a year. Nowadays, due to the popularity of small cars, we know that cars travel to a certain time or distance, we need to carry out maintenance to ensure that the vehicle is driving properly. The same applies to people, to a certain period of time must also be maintained. If you have stroke aura symptoms or a history of stroke, at least two times a year “maintenance”, usually at the time of climate change, such as the spring and summer, autumn and winter. The best way to “maintain” is to combine acupuncture, massage and Chinese herbal medicine to pass the meridians and open acupuncture points, each “maintenance” at least twelve times, that is, a course of treatment. What are the precursor symptoms of stroke? If one of the following symptoms occurs, it can be highly regarded as a precursor symptom of stroke. (1) sudden numbness and weakness of the face or limbs, sudden fall or unsteadiness in walking even though there is no roadblock; (2) sudden blackness or blurred vision in one or both eyes, double vision; (3) vertigo, headache, dizziness; (4) sudden slurred speech, confused speech or even inability to speak; (5) constant yawning and drowsiness.
