The treatment for high fasting glucose is as follows: 1. control diet, low sugar diet, no too sweet food, fruits and drinks. 2. Treatment with appropriate and sufficient doses of hypoglycemic drugs, preferably metformin tablets. If the blood sugar control is not good, you can also use DPP-4 inhibitors, SGLT-2 inhibitors and GLP-1 agonists and other glucose-lowering drugs.
