Gastric low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia is an atypical hyperplasia of the gastric mucosal epithelium, or precancerous lesion. Gastric intraepithelial neoplasia is an atypical or heterogeneous proliferation of gastric epithelium, which can lead to malignant transformation of gastric epithelial cells and is generally known as precancerous lesion, while gastric low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia is a type of pathologic form of gastric intraepithelial neoplasia. Gastric low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia can be characterized as flat, polypoid, and indented. Currently, the treatment of gastric low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia can be resected under gastroscopy with regular observation and follow-up. It is important to note that when gastric low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia is detected, it should be actively treated or followed up according to the doctor’s instructions to prevent the deterioration of intraepithelial neoplasia, so as to prevent early detection and early treatment.
