A few patients may experience itching, irritation, flushing, papules, facial fever, contact dermatitis, and dry skin. To prevent the emergence of drug-resistant strains, this product should be discontinued within four weeks of acne treatment and within one week of ineffectiveness in the treatment of folliculitis. Also, use should be discontinued after acne and inflammatory rashes have disappeared. Nafloxacin cream is for skin use only; do not use on the cornea or conjunctiva.
