Pain after surgical anesthesia can be relieved by bed rest, intravenous fluids, symptomatic treatment and oxygen intake. 1. Bed rest: headache after surgical anesthesia may be caused by loss of cerebrospinal fluid and change of body position, because headache after intrathecal anesthesia is most likely to be caused by the decrease of intracranial pressure, and it is recommended to lie still in the position of de-pillowed and flat lying, to avoid the leakage of cerebrospinal fluid. Generally, the headache will be relieved after lying down for 2 to 3 days. 2. Intravenous fluids: headache may also be due to the side effects of anesthesia drugs, so fluids can increase systemic blood volume, speed up systemic circulation and metabolism to metabolize residual anesthesia drugs as soon as possible. 3. Symptomatic treatment: Use headache medication to relieve headache, such as oral ibuprofen. 4. Oxygen intake: Improve the hypoxia of the whole body, especially the brain. If the headache is not relieved by the above measures, it is necessary to contact the surgeon and anesthesiologist to determine whether there are other foci or causes of the headache.
